Reflection:

1. When deciding what stories to share in my audio bio, I decided I wanted to be honest and wanted to display a piece that resembles me. I wanted to share some things that have molded me into the person I am today and wanted to focus on key important things that mean a lot to me and that I love. Sometimes it can be scary trying to decide what you want the public to hear and it was hard for me to open up and be outspoken but I realized people won't fully understand certain things I am talking about. Only you the writer knows your story and the audience develops many different interpretations that you cannot control. I was excited to share a piece of my personal self and the most challenging part was probably just deciding what to include and what not to.

2.I started off with a short poem at the beginning of the audio bio process. I sat down at my desk and reflected on what has shaped me as a person and what makes up my life and just let the words flow. I didn't even mean to rhyme in my piece, it just happened. After editing and re-drafting my audio bio I eventually altered and added on to my original poem to make it better and to give the audience more information about myself. I think the fact that I chose to stick to a rhyme scheme for the most part made my work more effective and easier to listen to for the audience. If I could do one thing differently I would maybe add more different background effects.

3. When creating my audio bio, I conducted a series of trial and errors. I failed sometimes and made some mistakes but also had successes and was able to fix my failures. At first my volume and clarity while speaking were not at their full potential. The next time I was extremely monotoned and needed to work on that. For the final product I was able to keep my rhythm and voice at a good pace and add more emotion to my voice so I was more engaging and not as monotoned. With every mistake and trial, I learned and bettered my work. Every time I did a trial I learned what I liked and did not like and fixed my mistakes or altered what was not appealing to me. I also learned how to create a successful audio bio which I have never done before. This project has broadened my horizons and given me techniques and tools I can use for future projects to come.
